Rental Terms
All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or when collecting the vehicle. This document outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance coverage, applicable charges, and your responsibilities related to the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take priority.
Eligibility Criteria

3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be made via our website, by phone, or directly at our Bradley Stoke office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are generally required at the time of vehicle pick-up. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, with secure processing through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of collection, it is your responsibility to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by both parties. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as it was collected, taking into account normal wear and tear. 5. Coverage and Responsibility
- All car rentals include basic third-party insurance. For comprehensive coverage details and excess amounts, please refer to the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to limit your financial liability, so reviewing these is recommended. You are accountable for any damage or loss up to the excess amount, unless additional insurance applies. Damage resulting from negligence or misuse remains your responsibility, regardless of the insurance coverage in place.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies depend on the type of booking and the notice given. For detailed information, please check your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or missed appointments might incur additional charges.
Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities or purposes. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any other dangerous maneuvers. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purpose, adhering to passenger and weight limits. Any operation outside the specified geographical boundaries requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Bradley Stoke will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our liability for any claim will not exceed the total rental amount paid in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to claims related to death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
9. Local Jurisdiction
These Terms are regulated by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
10. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
